Legacies fans, here’s a name you probably didn’t expect to think of again: Stefanie Salvatore.
Only mentioned briefly in an alternate reality setting in the show’s first season, Stefanie was, you guessed it, the daughter of The Vampire Diaries’ Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena Salvatore (Nina Dobrev), named in memory. from his hero-haired uncle Stefan (Paul Wesley). Never heard from again, Stefanie eventually faded from memory of her, brushed off as a non-canon joke. Up to this point.
How Elena Regained Her Memories of Damon
However, with Bonnie Bennett’s separate escape from the prison world came the revival of the cure for vampirism. After a few hiccups, in The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 20, “I’d Leave My Home Happy For You”, Elena was finally able to consume it. Together with Damon, Elena got everything she wanted since he became a vampire. In addition to the human, the remedy also produced an additional side effect. Similar to when a human becomes a vampire, the transition serves to break any past compulsions. As such, Alaric’s previous efforts were undone and Damon’s memories of Elena restored, beginning with the lovely and awkward first official date the two shared.
In season 6 of The Vampire Diaries, even without the memory of her, Elena fell in love once again with Damon.
She said it just before taking the cure from her, Damon promising to take it with him. Still, the return of Elena’s memories (and the true depth of love they shared) served as the icing on the cake for their relationship. It also served as a fitting parallel when Elena became a vampire, when she learned of the harrowing moments with Damon that he had once made her forget and that led her to fall in love with him for the first time. Although her romance would endure several more bosses in the future, including Damon only becoming human in the last episode, the restoration of Elena’s memories remained one of the most emotional moments of The Vampire’s central romance.
Situation in the season finale of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ that has fans worried Or, Julie Plec promised that we would see Damon and Bonnie again in this upcoming season. Damon cannot disappear given his importance in the series and the contract that actor Ian Somerhalder has signed with the production of the series until the end of 2015.
He should return very soon because during season 6. However, Damon may well be less and less present in The Vampire Diaries series.
Who turned Katherine into a vampire?
